Kosher, in every sense · We get to know every seller personally
The terms for opening a shop and selling on The Kosher Shop.
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who opens a shop on The Kosher Shop. By registering as a seller you agree to them.
The Kosher Shop is operated by UDITA s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic (Company ID 19482841, VAT ID CZ19482841), Ruzeny Svobodove, Znojmo, Czech Republic. We run the marketplace, bring customers and collect payment. You are the seller of your products.
Before your shop opens we get to know you: a phone call or visit, and a check of documents – ID, address and business registration. We may decline a shop at our discretion.
You are responsible for the description, photos, price, stock, quality and compliance with all applicable laws, including labelling and allergen information.
Every new product is reviewed by us before it goes live.
You may not offer counterfeit products, products that infringe the rights of others, or products whose kashrut is presented incorrectly.
If you state that a product is kosher, you must upload a valid kosher certificate and update it when it is renewed. If a certificate expires, we will hide the relevant products until you upload a new one.
There are no subscription fees and no cost to open a shop.
On each sale we charge a commission of 10% of the product price (excluding delivery). We will notify you in advance of any change to the commission.
The customer pays us through Stripe. Your share (the sale minus the commission) is added to your balance in the dashboard.
You can request a payout of your balance for completed orders – that is, after the customer has received the product. We approve the request and transfer it to your bank account.
You are responsible for reporting and paying tax on your income, and for issuing an invoice or receipt to the customer where the law requires it.
You pack and dispatch every order yourself, within the time you committed to. You set your delivery prices in the dashboard.
Update the order status and add a tracking number where available.
You respect the customer’s legal rights, including the 14-day right to cancel and returns, and handle requests through “Returns & replacements” in the dashboard.
Refunds to customers are deducted from your balance. If you have already been paid, we will offset the amount against your next balance.
Reply to customer messages within 2 working days. If a customer contacts us because they did not get a reply, we will contact you and help resolve it.
We may hide products or suspend a shop if these terms are breached, after repeated complaints, or if there is a problem with kashrut or documents. We will let you know and explain why.
You can close your shop at any time, once you have handled your open orders.
Customer details you receive are only for handling the order. You may not use them for marketing or pass them to others.
We may update these terms. We will give you at least 14 days’ notice of any material change.
